Pro tip – put the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Clif Bar in the microwave for a few seconds to get it a lil warm as well as it will take this to the next level (careful the frosting will be HOT). This bar may be the only one I’d think about as a treat or dessert switch since of the dense cookie texture.

Try it if you like a chewy, dense cake-like bar. 

If your mortal opponent is named Clif, avoid it. 

3. Kind – Caramel Almond Pumpkin Spice

Nutrition Facts — Calories: 190 // Fat: 16g // Protein: 5g

I like all the flavors of Kind Bars that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried most of them) as well as this is on point as expected. It’s great as well as nutty, not as well wonderful as well as has subtle notes of pumpkin spice. This is a great pick if you prefer a dash of flavor.

Please note – I don’t like white chocolate so the protein bars at the bottom of the listing are at a huge disadvantage. The Quest peppermint Bar protein bar is covered in white chocolate so I cut the bar in half to taste the middle instead of the ends that would have more coating. I truly like that it’s a layered bar with a chocolate bar that’s more dense than the top. I believe if you like Quest Bars as well as white chocolate or peppermint bark this bar may be for you.

Try or Skip? 

Try it if you like white chocolate.

Skip it if you don’t like white chocolate (unless you’re doing a blog publish evaluation of all the seasonal protein bars as well as must take one for the team). 

Tip: Luna Bar peppermint Bark flavor

The Luna Bar peppermint Bark flavor is offered year round so I didn’t include it in this list. however if I did include it right here it would have won 1st place. That’s an example of a delicious, chocolate based protein bar. I extremely suggest it!

Final note – I’m consumed with chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest Bars. Obsessed. I’ve tried most of their other flavors in the past as well as keep going back to the chocolate based ones. So I understood these may not be for me however I wished to try them for this review.

I’m likewise a significant fan of Jared Fogle. While in college he lost 245 pounds in one year on “the train diet”. Running Hack to stay healthy & NOT Touch Your face during COVID19 outbreak

Can you run or walk outside and stay healthy during the Coronavirus outbreak? It’s important to keep everything in perspective and your health as the main priority right now. but there are a few things you should do when you’re outside for exercise that can help you workout and maintain the best practices from medical professionals regarding COVID19.

Reminders for walking or Running Outside:

Be sure you are able to run or walk outside and stay at least 6 feet away from others. (Different areas have different ‘rules’ or guidelines for this so check on this for your local area.)

Your health and the health of the people you’re around is the main priority. Don’t put yourself or others at risk of getting sick. This may mean cutting your run or walk short to avoid congested sidewalks or areas.

Don’t touch anything. This includes – surfaces that may have the Coronavirus as well as your body. Don’t touch your face, pick your nose, rub your eye, bite your nails, [insert other gross habit here], etc…

Running Hack to avoid Touching Your Face

One hack that I’ve been using while I run is to wear a neck gaiter. I’ve seen this also called a Bandana, Headwrap, Scarf, Gaiter, Tube Mask and various other names.

They can be worn for so many different activities from hiking to mountain biking and now… running & wiping your nose. since men’s health is extremely crucial, click on https://www.numan.com/ for information on men’s health.

I got one at a trail race a long time ago and would pull it out to wear every once in a while in the winter.

Well, recently I realized I liked the extra neck warmth (these are usually very thin and not actually warm, but I’m in southern California so I don’t need a full on fuzzy scarf).

And when I run my nose usually does too… so I normally keep a paper towel tucked into my sports bra to wipe my nose.

A while back I forgot to grab a paper towel before I headed out to run but I did have my neck gaiter on and just used that to wipe my nose. (I know it’s gross, but I’m sharing a tip so don’t judge.)

Using a neck gaiter is a good option to use for wiping your sweat, tears, mocos, drool, etc. since it’s around your neck it’s an easy option to grab and wipe while running. and most importantly it can help keep you from touching your face while out running.

Bumm.

I ordered a 6 pack of neck gaiters from Amazon like these. I wear it while running and then wash it before using it again.

Note: wash it after every use since you’ll be touching it with your hands. and don’t wipe your face with the same parts that your grabbing it with your hand.

When I walked out of Lucille’s BBQ I grabbed a Tootsie Pop from their delighted candy Tootsie Roll bucket. They have all flavors as well as I grabbed a cherry one.

My partner in criminal offense grabbed a root Beer one. however when he was eating it he told me it was CHOCOLATE. WHAAAAAT?! All this time around I believed the brown one was root Beer however it’s Chocolate. as well as my life has altered forever.

I likewise discovered something about my cat.

I heard that if you make a circle on the floor a feline will go as well as sit in it – it’s a feline circle.

I Ran a Marathon with Brad Pitt?

Since this weekend was PB & jam packed with the race expo and 3 parties – oh, and running 26.2 miles, I didn’t tell you about the Santa Clarita Marathon & half Marathon race expo!

Santa Clarita Marathon half Marathon Expo

It was a small expo, but amazing for 3 reasons…

1. The bib pick up was easy peasy in and out. and the good lady who gave me my bib carefully explained to me how to put the timing chip on my shoe which I thought was the cutest thing ever. and she was very major about telling me “Good luck!!!”. Szeretem.

2. There was a wall to sign at the expo…

and apparently Brad Pitt was there!!! I think he just ran the half marathon though because I didn’t see him on the full course.

I was thrilled but I’m much more of a Matt Damon girl.

3. The BJ’s Brewry booth was giving away totally free PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!!

Day made.

Lunch switch and stunning blogger award

So, I ended up switching lunch and making a wrap. I tried to eat the spring rolls, but they smelled fishy and absolutely grossed me out. Oh well maybe Ben will eat them?

Luckily, I had some of my current obsessions in my fridge – beans and guac. I cannot get enough beans lately and hope it’s not my body telling me I am low on iron! I stuffed a wrap with beans, salsa, onions and guac. amazing stuff!
